Emergence and persistence of work relationships in early socialization: contrasting interpersonal and organizational perspectives

چکیده
The development and maintenance of work relationships is the primary mechanism for effective socialization, yet emerging in early socialization are fragile. We hypothesize that their persistence related to frequency information-based support between newcomers providers perceived responsiveness providers. contrast this relational effect with a more established organizational practices. In three-wave longitudinal study 40 involved 601 relationships, we examined newcomers’ information-support over time. found arguing positively information receive from Moreover, show depends on factors – willingness provider provide informational support, while favourable tactics as by do not play significant role. discuss theoretical practical implications.
